You may well know that neither St. Mary nor St. Botolph have a viable congregation – we stay afloat by the skin of our teeth and some good fund raising events. But a ‘Church’ is the people that attend and worship God. The buildings are a ‘home’ for that group of people, without a church community the buildings are redundant.
Christianity is not about preserving buildings although we take our stewardship of history seriously.
If you care about your church buildings:
Come and worship once a month at 11.15am:
Gilston on the 1st Sunday Eastwick on the 3rd Sunday.
Make a donation towards the repair
The services are friendly and the buildings beautiful. Comments, suggestions, donations to see contact list.
